Ministry Staff


Debbie Cox Preschool Director Debbie has served as Director of Calvary Christian Preschool and as one of the teachers since 1996. She enjoys working with children and seeing them grow physically, mentally, and spiritually. Debbie, her husband, and three boys live in Simpsonville.	Michael Dieschbourg Maintenance Michael has served as Maintenance Manager at Calvary since 2002 and is responsible for keeping the grounds in excellent condition. His wife Roseanne oversees Ladies Ministry retreats. The Dieschbourgs live in Simpsonville with their son and daughter.

Faith Taylor Administrative Assistant Faith is the wife of Dr. Dean Taylor, Calvary's Senior Pastor. Her desire is to continually grow in Christ-likeness, to support her husband in his life calling, and to be used of God to encourage continued spiritual growth in their family. In the church, her passions are music and ladies' ministries.	Janet Parent Administrative Assistant Janet came to Calvary from the Chicago area. It was there that she received Christ and began serving in her local church. She serves as one of Calvary's Administrative Assistants and teaches third grade Sunday school. Janet has one son and three grandchildren, one of whom is at home with the Lord.

Johnnie Smith Custodial Services Johnnie faithfully serves as Custodian at Calvary Baptist Church and does an excellent job keeping the church facilities clean and sanitary. You will typically find Johnnie and her husband Bill in the foyer greeting members and guests as they arrive for services. The couple lives in Simpsonville.	Dean Tesch Facilities Manager Dean has been Calvary's Facilities Manager since January 2008. He has a degree in Pastoral Studies and pastored in Paradise, Michigan, for 4 years before coming to Calvary. Dean, his wife Lisa, and their family live in Simpsonville.

Lydia Thomas Administrative Assistant Lydia joined the office staff in June 2010 to fill the roles of Graphic Design Artist and Administrative Assistant. She has a degree in Graphic Design and worked for the City of Greenville before coming to Calvary. Lydia and her husband Matt serve as 4th grade Sunday school teachers and as Care Group Leaders for their Sunday school class.	Lydia Williams Administrative Assistant Lydia joined the staff at Calvary Baptist Church in September 2008. She serves as Administrative Assistant and Receptionist; she also serves as Secretary for the Ladies Ministry. Lydia earned a degree in Administrative Management in 2004, and worked at SoundForth before joining the staff at Calvary.
