What are the services like?

Our two identical Sunday morning services combine dynamic, Christ-honoring music led by Pastor Ron Hamilton with clear, practical preaching and teaching from the Bible. Sign language interpretation is provided at 9:00 am.

We gather together again each Sunday evening at 6:00 pm to worship and enjoy fellowship around God's Word.

At the end of each service, the congregation is typically invited to respond to the message – to accept Christ as Savior, to make a spiritual decision, or simply to pray.  Counseling is available during this time as well.

Services generally last 1 hour and 15 minutes.

We have a visitor reception area in the lobby where you can meet members of our pastoral staff after each morning service.  Pastoral staff members and their wives are there to welcome those new to Calvary and answer questions.

What should I wear?

No matter what your personal style, you'll be comfortable at Calvary. If you prefer dressy, business, or casual attire, chances are there will be others dressed much like you when you visit. Many prefer to dress up for worship on Sundays.

Toddlers and young children learn while they play, so their clothing often reflects their play and hands-on learning activities.

Junior and senior high students usually dress casually on Wednesday evenings because games and events are sometimes held outside.

Where can I park?

We have parking near the main entrance for our guests.  Please take advantage of these special parking places during your visit.

What happens when I arrive?

Friendly greeters will meet you at the door.  They can direct you to the auditorium, classrooms, or nurseries.  Greeters and ushers will be happy to answer any questions you may have during your visit.

Information is also available at the Information Center in the lobby.

What about infants, toddlers, and children?

Supervised nurseries for infants – children 3 years old are available during all services freeing parents to worship, receive instruction from God's Word, and participate in ministry – confident that their children's needs are being met.

Classes for children 4 years old – 6th grade meet at both morning service times. Our Patch the Pirate Club meets at 10:30 am; Pee Wee Patch Club (for ages 4 and 5) meets at 6:00 pm.

Junior and senior high teens meet as part of Calvary's
youth group.

How can I meet others?

One of the best ways to meet others and develop friendships is to be involved in a
Sunday school class.  Many classes are available from which to choose.  Our classes give opportunities for fellowship and spiritual growth.

How can I learn more about Calvary?

Attending a service or class is a good start.  When you're here, be sure to visit the Information Center in the lobby.  Friendly people are there to answer your questions and provide you with information about Calvary's ministries and events.

If you're interested in becoming a member of Calvary, or if you want more of an in-depth look at the ministries here, then the
Calvary Connection Class is for you.  It is a two-week class that meets on selected Sunday evenings at 4:00 pm.
