Frequently-Asked Questions
Truth Trackers is a children's discipleship program that seeks to systematically teach children to know the fundamental truths of Scripture.
Truth Trackers seeks to systematically and purposefully disciple children; to incorporate the family into activities and Scripture memory; and to give opportunities for children to evangelize the lost.
What is taught?
Truth Trackers teaches 18 doctrinal themes that are reviewed on a three-year schedule. These doctrinal themes comprise the core of biblical Christianity.
What we teach in Truth Trackers is not just for children – nor is it just for adults. These doctrinal themes are essential for all Christians if they truly want to know the God they worship and love. Every year, 6 doctrinal themes are covered. This year, Truth Trackers will teach God's Nature, God's Greatness, Jesus Christ, Prayer, Trials, and the Holy Spirit.
How can my family be involved?
First, you can bring your children and their friends to Truth Trackers. Each week, the children will recite verses and hear lessons that correspond to the doctrines they are learning.
Second, have a Family Truth Discussion night. Set aside one evening per week when your family will work on memory verses and talk about the doctrine being taught. These Truth Discussions can be downloaded each week from Calvary's website.
Third, review the verses whenever you can. Review them when your family is driving in the car, waiting at the doctor's office, or going for a walk (Deuteronomy 6:7). An audio CD and a Family Memory Guide that contain all the questions and verses for the year are available for you.
