Ron and Shelly Hamilton Music Ron Hamilton – known worldwide as "Patch the Pirate" – joined the staff of Calvary Baptist Church in 1994.  His musical ministry has influenced countless lives, both young and old.  Pastor Ron and his wife Shelly are actively involved in Majesty Music.  Shelly serves as Calvary's pianist. Pastor Ron has earned undergraduate and master's degrees in Sacred Music and has received honorary doctoral degrees from several institutions. The Hamiltons live in Greenville.  They have five children and one grandchild.
