Ministry Opportunities

	Baskets of Joy We would like to minister to those in our church – and community – who face the difficulties often associated with chemotherapy or radiation. This ministry prepares and delivers baskets to those going through extensive cancer treatments. Those participating will have the opportunity to donate gift items for the baskets, prepare the baskets, and deliver them to their recipients.
	Care and Hospital Ministry The Care and Hospital Ministry seeks to encourage those in time of need. We send cards to those who are hospitalized and schedule visits when there is an extended stay. If you are interested in this ministry, you will be contacted on a rotation basis to visit or send a card to a church lady.
	Morning Minutes in Missions Morning Minutes in Mission is forming committees to help with Missions Conference events. There are many ways you can serve: making calls for donations, gathering items for gift baskets, shopping for lunch items for our nurseries, and setting up for and cleaning up after a meal during Missions Conference.
	Homebound Ministry There are those in our church family who are unable to attend services because of health limitations. We seek to be an encouragement by providing CDs or DVDs of our worship services for them. If you would like to participate in making these deliveries and/or making periodic visits to these individuals, then this ministry is for you.
	Newborn Ministry The Newborn Ministry provides a gift bag for our members when they have a baby. The bag is already prepared and contains several items for the new baby. If you are planning to visit a mother and her newborn at the hospital or at home, you may take this gift to them for us.
	Women for Wisdom Mentoring Ministry One of the most meaningful and encouraging friendships that can exist between Christian women is that of an older woman sharing her heart with a younger woman. This ministry is designed to help younger women have such a friend help in practical and spiritual ways. If you would like to have a mentor, or if you would like to become one, this ministry is available to you.
