Calvary Kids Ministry

One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts.
Psalm 145:4

Our mission is to do just that – proclaim our great God to the next generation! We partner with parents in the discipleship of children. We believe that parents are the number one disciplers of their children. Parents have the greatest opportunity to show Christ to their child. As a church, we desire to encourage, equip, and partner with parents in this great endeavor.

Nursery Care

Supervised nurseries are available for every service (Sunday classes, Sunday morning, and Sunday evening), freeing parents to worship, receive instruction, and participate in ministry. Parents can be confident that their children’s needs are being met in a safe, fun, and loving environment.

The nurseries are located on the Preschool Wing, near the Auditorium.

Sunday Classes

9:30 am | Gym | K4-5th

At Calvary, we believe it is beneficial for our children to learn the stories of Bible in light of the central truth – God is our Rescuer.

The Gospel Project curriculum is a three-year chronological study of the Bible that presents each Bible story in the light of the greatest story – God’s redemption of man.

We start with a large group teaching time, followed by a small group discussion time by grade level.

For more information on the Gospel Project, visit their website.

Children’s Church

10:15 am | Gym | K4 – 3rd

After a short break and assembly time, kids will further their learning in interactive Connection Rooms.

We recognize that all of our children do not learn in the same way, and so we want to provide varying learning opportunities for our visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners.

We have an Art Room, Drama Room, and a Discovery Room – plus, a Music Room for our K4 and K5!

Truth Trackers

Truth Trackers is our children’s discipleship program for K3 through 5th grade that meets on Sunday evenings during the school year.

Truth Trackers disciples children in the core elements of our faith, teaches them to meditate and memorize God’s Word, incorporates the whole family in activities and Scripture memory, and provides opportunities to reach the lost.

Each evening will include a game time with kids divided into teams and a lesson time focused on the doctrine that was studied that past week through verse memory and devotionals.

For more information on the Truth Trackers program, visit their website.

During the summer, our Sunday evening children’s program on Sunday evenings takes a break from June through mid-August.
