The readings this week will continue in Proverbs, providing us insight into God’s wisdom, which we so need in this season! Proverbs parallels James in many ways. We will also touch on two Old Testament stories that we will see used as illustrations later in James 2 – Abraham and Rahab, who both had faith that worked.

Pray for our church, our families, our marriages, our classes/groups, and our country to be UNIFIED around God’s truth this week!

Here’s a great verse to use in your prayers: May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. -Romans 15:5-6
